Garage Door

Mrs. O was worried about a rotten side door and believed it needed replacing. After having a look, it had definitely seen better days and I presented her with some options, considering new, second-hand, and custom-built, after going away and pricing them all up building a door from scratch proved to be the most cost-effective solution, much to the customer’s delight!

The door was fabricated from a 3″ x 2″ frame, 20mm tongue and groove paneling, a mortice lock and fire-rated ball bearing hinges. As the wood was pre-treated I also offered a return visit to paint, stain or varnish it for free. One very satisfied customer who has already had me back for repeat work and more to come.
