Kitchen Door Surround restore

Mr. B reached out to me shortly after I began trading and asked if I could stop by to review his list of jobs and see which ones I could handle. To my surprise, the list was so extensive that I still haven’t managed to complete them all, mainly because of the weather!

His kitchen door was becoming a problem; when left slightly open, it let in the elements, causing damage to the wall. The paint was flaking, plaster chipping, and mildew beginning to form.

I stripped all the loose paint and sanded back the rest, filled all the holes and smoothed over the wall, primed it with Zinsser bullseye 1-2-3 and a fresh lick of the paint to match the rest of the kitchen. Repair > Restore > Refinish.

Also refreshed the shower and bathroom sink with new silicone and securely remounted the smoke alarm that was hanging from the ceiling!
